Kuntz' pulseless continuous stream reagent StriationTM machines stripe membrane materials from large bulk reels uninterruptedly.

  • Capability of virtually an unlimited number of dispense heads in one compact station area.
  • Options include rewind, inline drying, converting, laminating, slitting, die cutting, punching, inspection with reject, marking, blotting, blocking and packaging.
  • Systems can include discrete point micro and nanoliter dispenses utilizing commercial technologies.  We have integrated Ivek, Cavro, Kloehn, Piezo electric and peristaltic pumps.
  • Kuntz' proprietary systems can handle both solutions and suspensions.

Applications Include:

Tractor Feed Cuvette Assembly with High Voltage Leak Detection System 
System forms precise matching pockets on top and bottom webs.  Heat sealing within .001 per 40 inches, slits web in half, cleans, and high voltage leak detection of every pocket for micro-holes.  Eliminates defects.  Output of 1,752 formed pockets per minutes.

Reagent Dispensing System Configured for Suspensions 
Ergonomic work module is part of simultaneously engineered pilot line of 10 different cells that produces 20PPM with one operator on each modular work cell.  Dispense module above keeps a suspension (reagent) mixed and temperature controlled.  Produces one microliter droplets onto a membrane substrate one at a time.

    

Pipette Racking System (400 PPM)   
 Machine has modular stations for various parts of the assembly/packaging process.  Option of accepting pipettes from feeder bowls or an injection mold pick and place.  Good parts inspection.  Good ones are placed into racks, cover placed (different cover styles available) and optional tape placed around the outside or snap fit.  Labeled and ink-jetted with barcode information and organized for packaging by finished product array.

Reagent Blotting System  
Feeds backed or unbacked membrane web and forms three specific patterns of reagent onto membrane.

Test Kit Assembly (Pregnancy, Chlamydia, Strep, etc.)  
High speed system inspects and places plastic molded tops and bottoms.  Inspects and places reagent strips and desiccants, assembles, hot stamps or pad prints product information.  Inspects all parameters and offloads good products directly to packaging machine through a controlled buffer, all at high speed.

Micro Centrifuge Vial Closure Machine
This machine is designed ergonomically for operator loading of one of two sizes.  Manual dispensing and automatic closure at 48PPM output all while using an operator.
